The single biggest obstacle in advancing research for the early detection of lung and esophageal cancer is financial support.
Private gifts make it possible to accelerate the rate at which researchers can pursue their work. Support of this nature allows scientists to test new theories that otherwise cannot be explored.
There are several ways you can donate to the Gary L. and Thelissa Zollinger Early Detection of Lung Cancer Endowment at the University of Colorado Foundation.
Your gift could mean the difference between life and breath.
Contribute by participating in the race
Involve your company and become a race sponsor! Sponsors receive recognition at the race through such opportunities as promotional items in the registration packets, your name on race t-shirts, and booths. Run the race with the support of friends, colleagues and neighbors! Visit the race registration page to learn more about gaining sponsors and print the sponsor pledge form. A grand prize will be awarded to the highest amount raised over $1,000. All sponsorship contributions must be turned in at the registration table by 9:00 a.m. the day of the race.
Double your impact! Many employers have a matching gift program in which they’ll match all or part of your contribution. Ask your human resources department today for information on this program.
Contribute directly to the endowment
You can make a tax-deductible contribution directly to the endowment through one of two methods:
