(May 18, 2009) More than 800 people registered and 600 people finished the race to end lung cancer at the Gift of Life and Breath 5K May 16 at Anschutz Medical Center.

What You Can Do Today!
Ask Congress to support the Lung Cancer Mortality Reduction Act of 2009, introduced in the U.S. Senate by Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Sam Brownback (R-KS) and in the U.S. House of Representatives by Congresswoman Donna Christensen (D-VI) and Congressman Frank LoBiondo (R-NJ).
This legislation was introduced in the U.S Senate creating and authorizing at least $75 million for lung cancer research. This is the first ever multi-agency comprehensive program targeted at reducing lung cancer mortality. Please contact your U.S Senator and ask them to add their support to the Lung Cancer Mortality Reduction Act of 2009.
